Revolt of the Governor of Cyprus Rapsomates against Byzantine Emperor Alexis Comnène. The intervention of General Manuel Boutoumitès ended in the spring of 1093.
Roger of Sicily completes the conquest of Sicily with the capture of Noto on the Zirides.
February 2 (Chandelier): William the Roux, king of England invaded Normandy. He made peace with his brother Robert Courtehuse before starting the fighting.
