Cyprus Cup 2001-02

The 60th edition of the Cyprus Cup was held from November 7, 2001 to May 11, 2002. The competition was organized by the Cyprus Football Association and featured a total of 50 teams.

Results of the Season

Anorthosis Famagusta emerged as the winner of the tournament, securing their eighth title in the process.

Formula

The competition consisted of six rounds: preliminary round, sixteenths, eighteenths, quarters, semifinals, and finals. The preliminary round was played as a single match, with the possibility of extra time and penalty shootouts in case of a draw. From the second round to the semi-finals, matches were played over two legs.

A total of 50 teams participated in the competition, including all 14 teams from the Second Division and Third Division.
