2009 Davis Cup Europe/Africa Zone Group II

The European and African Zone is one of the three zones of regional Davis Cup competition in 2009.

Structure

In the European and African Zone, there are four different groups in which teams compete against each other to advance to the next group. The zone is divided into two main sections: Group I and Group II.

### Promotion and Relegation

* Two teams from Group I are promoted to the World Group Play-offs.
* The number of teams relegated from Group I to Group II varies, but in 2009, it was nine teams.
* Teams that finish at the bottom of Group II are relegated to Group III.
