2012-2013 Cypriot Second Division
The 2012-2013 Cypriot Second Division was the 58th season of the Cypriot second-level football league. It began on September 15, 2012 and ended on May 11, 2013.
Formula
The championship involved 14 teams competing in two rounds of return matches, for a total of 26 days. This was the last season with this name, as from the next season the Second Division was divided into B1 and B2.
Participating Teams
A total of 14 teams participated in the league. The teams were ranked at the end of the regular season, and the top four teams met each other in return matches to determine promotion to the First Division. The first three teams promoted were:
* Aris Limassol
* AEK Kouklia (finished equal on points with Aris Limassol but lost due to a worse goal difference in their head-to-head matches)
* Other teams promoted
The teams ranked from fifth to eighth position disputed the new Second Division B1, while those ranked ninth to twelfth were relegated to the new Second Division B2. The teams ranked penultimate and last were relegated to the Third Division.
