Austria approved the participation of the 2016 Eurovision Song Competition in Stockholm, the capital of Sweden. The song and representative of Austria was determined by Wer singt für Österreich in Stockholm in accordance with the national finals called Wer singt für Österreich? He represented Zoë with his song called "Loin d'ici".

The Eurovision Song Competition held on May 10, 2016 in the first semifinals.
