January: Kawasaki Frontale wins the Japan Cup by winning the New National Olympic Stadium on a 1-0 score against the Gamba Osaka.
13 January: Paris Saint-Germain won the Champions' Trophy against Olympique de Marseille by winning the 2-1 score at Stade Bollaert-Delelis in Lens.
17 January: Athletic Bilbao wins the Spanish Supercup at the Stade de la Cartuja in Seville for its history by beating FC Barcelona in the final on the score of 3-2 after a game that ends in overtime.
20 January: The Italian champion Juventus won the Italian Supercup by beating the Italian Cup winner SSC Naples on the score of 2-0. The meeting took place, for the first time in the history of the competition, at the Mapei Stadium-Città del Tricolore in Reggio d'Émilie.
23 January: The Argentines of Defensa y Justicia won the Copa Sudamericana by winning the Mario-Alberto-Kempes Stadium in Córdoba on the score of 3-0 against Club Atlético Lanús.
24 January: Ligue 1 day, Olympique Lyonnais won the 5 to 0 river score against AS Saint-Étienne and won the Derby rhônalpin at the Geoffroy-Guichard stadium.
January 30: Palmeiras wins the Copa Libertadores at the Maracanã Stadium by beating Santos FC 1-0 in the final after an extension.

February 4 to February 11: World Club Cup in Qatar.
February 11: Bayern Munich wins both the Club World Cup history by winning the 1-0 final against Mexicans from UANL Tigers. With this title, the Bayern won his trophy in less than a year.
15 February: The Frenchman Willy Sagnol was named a new breeder in Georgia.

February 20: The reigning Kawasaki Frontale champion of Japan wins the Supercup of Japan by beating the Gamba Osaka 3 to 2.

7 March: Canet Roussillon FC (National 2) fans create the surprise at the Coupe de France finals by eliminating the professional club of Olympique de Marseille at the Stade Gilbert-Brutus in Perpignan on the score of 2-1.
24 March: The Fédération Française de Football decides to permanently stop all the amateur championships of men's and women's football for the 2020-2021 season as well as the cessation of the Coupe de France Feminine 2020-2021 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
