2023 Kahramanmaraş earthquakes or 2023 Turkey-Suriye earthquakes, consisting of nine hours in 6 February 2023, the center bases are located respectively in Kahramanmaraş’s market and Elbistan districts, 7,8 Mw (±0.1) and two earthquakes in 7,5 Mw sizes. As a result of earthquakes, at least 50 thousand 783, in Syria, at least 8 thousand 476 people lost their lives and more than 122 thousand people were injured. After the earthquakes, the size of up to 6.7 Mw increased more than 40 thousand. The largest, tallest and most severe earthquake in the history of the Republic of Turkey.

As of April 22, 12:40, the Minister of Interiors was announced in the earthquake by Süleyman Soylu, where 50,783 people died, 107.204 people were injured. Due to earthquake, 120 police reported that over 32 soldiers and at least 14 doctors die. The Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change made damage of 1 million 430 thousand 363 building in 11 provinces affected by earthquake. 227 thousand 27 buildings consisting of 507 thousand independent sections reported that the building was destroyed, urgently destroyed and detected by severely damaged.
According to the report published in 18 March 2023 by the Directorate of Strategy and Budget, the total cost of earthquakes to Turkey economy was 2 trillion pounds (103,6 billion $).
