300 BC.
300 (T. Livy). History... M., 1989-1993, vol. 1, P. 461-464 — Consuls Marcus Valery Maxim Korv (for the 5th time) (patrician) and Quint Apulei Pansa (plebeian). Plebeian tribunes Quintus Ogulnius and Gnei Ogulnius.
300 – The priestly colleges are doubled in Rome. Plebeians are allowed to hold positions of pontiffs and augurs. The first election of a plebeian priest. The pontiffs were the plebeians of Publius Decius Muses, Publius Sempronius Soph, Gaius Martius Ruthul, Marcus Livy Denter (total became 8), the augurs - the plebeians Gaius Genutius, Publius Emilius Pet, Marcus Minutius Fez, Gaius Martius and Titus Publilius (total 9).
300 - Construction of the "Big Cloaca" in Rome.
A.K. 300 - Agathocles, under the pretext of helping Tarentus, begins to fight the bruttias.
300 – The Athenian archon eponym Hegemachus.
300 - Seleucus sent matchmakers to Demetrius, asking for the hand of Stratonica, daughter of Demetrius and Phila. Demetrius sailed to Syria and on the way landed at Cilicia, ruled by Plistarchus, Cassander's brother. Considering the landing of Demetrius an enemy raid, Plistarchus went to Cassander. Demetrius moved to the Kindas and captured the treasury. Near Rhodes held a solemn meeting of Demetrius and Seleucus. Seleucus and Stratonica's wedding. Founding of Seleucia Pieria (the seaport of Antioch) in Syria.

298–290 – Third Samnite War
298 - Samnite attack on the Lucans. The power of the Lukans passed to the anti-Roman party. Against the Romans, a coalition of Samnites, Etruscans, Umbrians and Gauls is organized. The Samnites led their army to Umbria to join the Allies. The victory of L. Cornelius over the Etruscans at Volaterra, the victory of Gn. Fulvia over the Samnites at Beauvian, the capture of Beauvian, Aufidena. A triumph, Mr. Fulvia.
