Distribution Range

Acantholabrus palloni is found in the Atlantic Ocean, specifically along the eastern coast from Norway to Ghana, including Madeira, Azores, and Canary Islands. It is also present in the Mediterranean Sea and the Adriatic Sea.

Depth Range and Habitat Preferences

This species inhabits solid surfaces, particularly coral reefs, at depths ranging from 40 to 200 meters (131 to 656 feet). It tends to hide in narrow crevices, caves, and underwater caverns.
