Apart from his participation in large troupes in his first steps ("Theasos Kotopoulis", "Theasos Katerinas", "Thymelikos Theasos Linos Karzi", "Theatro of Art Charles Kounou") and the creation of "Theasos Lemou" (year of establishment 1944), the important station of his theatrical activity is the period 1947-1950, where he begins the first post-war research and promotion of the new theatre forces. Also in America it creates the first permanent Greek theatre in 1957-1967.

Actor
He stated that he had two influences: on one hand the "old school", where the theatrical function was based on the instinct, imagination, improvisation and dominant presence of the actor on the stage, and on the other, the complexity of various streams and scientific theories.

Teaching theatre
Adamantios Lemos taught theatre at the Drama School of the Municipal Conservatory of Larissa", in local teachings of amateur shapes, but also earlier, in Egypt, Cyprus and America, where he created and highlighted actors. At the Theatre Workshop of the Municipality of Helioupolis (1979 – 1989), an honorary award was held with the first prize and together the gold medal of the city of Athens among twenty selected theatrical bands at the "Panhellenic Games of Amateur Theatre Creation", organized by the Municipality of Athens.

Alkis Thrylos describes him as "a pioneer" and "implanter", which "magnetizes his environment". In the early years of his career, he set up a theater with his new colleagues, in a refugee slum, in Drapetsona (summer 1940). The same experiment repeats it within the Occupation (summer 1941), in the theatre "Nana" on Vouliagmenis Avenue. The same again in Egypt at the time of war, covering the the theatrical needs of Egypt's Hellenism. In Cyprus it sets the roots for the development and consolidation of the first professional Cyprus Theatre.

He constantly discovers venues, which transforms them into theatres and proposes refreshing theatrical forms, such as performances in the form of a folk celebration. The beginning was with the "Ancient theatre Argos" in 1955, culminating in research on the discovery and promotion of the new theatrical forces in "Dionysias Kallithea" (1947-1950) and the creation of the "Organization of Greek Theatre of America" (1957–1967).

Director
The word director, directed, was for many years unknown in Greece. After the advent of the theatre reformer Constantine Christomanos from Europe in 1901, he is found sparsely and where the foreign origin word "Regisseur" is translated: case Thomas Economou and Fotos Citizen and later Roderis, Mouzenidis, Karadinos and then Sarantidis, Kun in free theatre, until 1940, the term director was generally presented.
