Atanas Przelov

Atanas Przelov is a Bulgarian footballer and coach.
He was born on 9 February 1932 in Veliko Tarnovo. He was a football player from 1945 to 1959. He played as a goalkeeper in the September, Chavdar, Spartacus and Red Flag (Pazardzhik) teams in 1945, in Academic (Sofia) in 1950 and Benkovski (Pazardzhik) in 1957. He graduated from VIF (now NSA) with a major in Football.
In 1959 he was the coach of Benkovski (Pazardzhik), and in the seasons 1962/1963 and 1963/1964 he was the senior coach of Botev (Pazardzhik). Then his coaching career continued in Slavia (Sofia) There is a title of the Construction Forces. Allied coach at BFS (then Bulgarian Football Federation BFF) in 1971/72 and 1978. From 1978 to 1979 he coached the Bulgarian national team in 2 matches together with Tsvetan Ilchev and Yanko Dinkov and independent of Ettar (Veliko Tarnovo), who, under his leadership after this season, joined the group. Then he was voted and more trusted and appointed as the senior coach of the national team of Bulgaria from 1979 to 1982, when there were 30 matches He also coached in Cyprus. From 1993 to 1994 Atanas Przelov was Vice President of BFS and after the resignation of the President of BFS Valentin Mihov led the delegation of the national team of the world championship in 1994 in the United States. He worked as a journalist and editor in the newspaper Football.
In 1999, he suffered a stroke that affected his memory. He's had high blood pressure since 2004 and he's had a speech test since 2008. In 2009 he received inflammation in the knee of the stronger left leg and trembling of the whole body.
He was awarded by BFS with a Silver badge as coach on 9 April 2013 on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Slavia.
He died in August 2013.
