Biography
Boris Hvoynev (; born 19 August 1967) is a former Bulgarian footballer who played as a forward.
### Early Career and Club Career
Hvoynev was born in Smolyan, Bulgaria. He began his career at the School of Botev, Plovdiv, where he debuted in the men's composition in the season 1985/1986 in the loss against Botev, Vratsa with a score of 4-0.
Hvoynev spent more than a decade with Botev Plovdiv and appeared in over 200 matches in the Bulgarian top league. He also represented other clubs, including Lokomotive Sofia, CSKA Sofia, Maritsa Plovdiv, Alki (Cyprus), and La Valletta (Malta). With La Valletta, he won the Maltese Premier League title in the 1998-99 season.
### International Career
Hvoynev was capped two times at the senior level by the Bulgaria national team. He also played for the RFG championships, winning silver and bronze medals on multiple occasions.

### Coaching Career
In 2005, Hvoynev relocated to Baltimore, United States, where he has been coaching youth teams.
Statistics
