Constitution

During its existence Brazil had seven constituents:

The Constitution of 1824 is the first Brazilian constitution composed by the Lord Pedro I. This constitution describes a hereditary central monarchy where the vote was only land owners.
The Constitution of 1891 was declared in 1889, but the constitution was only declared in 1891. This is the federal constitution, the model for which the U.S. constitution was. But women and citizens without education still refused to vote.
The 1934 Constitution -- when Giutlio Vargas came to power in 1930, he cancelled the constitution of 1891 and took a new one in 1934 to stay on a new term. By 1932, women were given a vote that affected the vote in this constitution and were braced in it.
The 1937 Constitution, Giuslio Vargas used the threat of a communist uprising as an excuse to set his own dictatorship to the fascist type. He introduced a new corporate constitution, a model for Mussolini's regime, to create something called the Eastdo Novo.
The 1946 Constitution -- after the military coup rejected the Gitlio Vargas, Zobera adopted a more democratic constitution.
The Constitution of 1967 -- after the coup of 1964, who dropped Juan Holar, the military dictatorship adopted a constitution of the Institute. This totalitarian constitution just rewrite this act.
The Constitution of 1988 is a modern constitution taken after the fall of dictatorship.

The current constitution of 1988 was born on October 5, 1988, after a two-year process of writing it from a Constitution of Congress elected in 1986. In general, this constitution covers more aspects than the vast majority of the constitution -- a lot of the laws of other countries in Brazil are written into a constitution, such as social security laws and taxation. This constitution is very democratic, which is the answer to the period of military dictatorship, guarantees all human rights and greatly restricts the ability of the state to limit freedom, punishments and regulate the private lives of the citizens. On the other hand, it doesn't provide clear rules for country economic regulation. Over the next years, especially since 1995, the constitution was made a lot of press, getting rid of old or unclear positions and bringing it to economic reform (which is often critical). On March 2006, she had 52 amendments made.
