Chinaʹr or Platan or Yablan () is a genus of covered seed plants of the Platanaceae family. It includes about 10 species of large trees up to 30 m high. The species (Platanus cerii) is evergreen, the rest change leaves. In nature are found mainly by the banks of rivers and other wetlands, but it is also possible to grow in dryer places.
Biology

The natural habitat of Platanus Kerrii is Indochina (Vietnam, Laos).
In North America, Platanus racemosa (California) and Platanus wrightii, Platanus Mexicana, Platanus Lindeniana (Mexico), as well as West Chinar (USA).
