Early Life and Education
Christiana Erotokritou was born on 14 May 1973 in Lefkosia (Nicosia), Cyprus. She speaks Greek and English fluently. She holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree from the University of Wolverhampton in the United Kingdom, as well as a Barrister-at-Law title from Lincoln's Inn in London.
Personal Life
Erotokritou is married to Mario Abraham and has two children, a son and a daughter.
Career
### Early Career
In 2002-2004, she served as a member of the Democratic Party Youth Secretariat (NDEK). Since 2004, she has been a member of the Executive Office of DIKO. From December 2013 to May 2016, she was a member of the Secretariat of DEKOS. During this period, from January 2014 to May 2016, she also served as a spokesperson for DEKOS.
### Parliamentary Career
In the 2016 parliamentary election, Erotokritou was elected as a Member of Parliament (MP) in the Lefkosia Electoral District with DIKO for the XI Parliament. Since then, she has been a member of the House of Representatives of Cyprus.
Current Roles and Affiliations
As of June 2018, Erotokritou has been deputy president of DEKOS. She is also a member of several parliamentary committees, including:
