The Cyprus Post is published in the management of Ismet Kotak in Cyprus. Kotak registered the name of the newspaper in 1968. Newspaper publications started on October 25, 1982. The first Cyprus Turkish newspaper broadcasting in color was the highest newspaper in Cyprus in 1980s. As of 1991, tiraj was at 4,500 per day. In the first beginning against the parties, a distanceed attitude was inserted and therefore considered "unlimited". Then, Kotak’s Democratic Public Party’s post organ ID. Asil Rare, who started broadcasting as a new technology, could not compete with the Cyprus newspaper, and the publication life was terminated in January 1, 1993.
Between Authors İsmet Kotak, Şener Levent (1982-1987), Sevgül Uludağ, Ibrahim Zeki Burdurlu, Hikmet Afif Mapolar took place.
On July 17, 1986, Şener Levent wrote the Prime Minister Derviş Eroğlu, the Minister of Finance Tashkent Atasayan and the Minister of Transport Mehmet Bayram, allegedly received the "Jaguar and Mersedes" written by the parties concerned about the article "Jaguar and Mersedes". As a result of the case, the newspaper ruled a compensation of 65 million TL, thought to be high for that period.
