"Cyprus men's football Cup 1997-98"

The Cyprus Cup 1997-98 was the 24th edition of the Cyprus Cup (21st under the auspices of the Cyprus Football Federation). The ten first-class teams 1997–98 participated. The winner was the Uplift for the 13th time in her history.

Phase I
In the draw of Phase I participated the teams that took over positions 5 to 10 of the final league ranking First class 1997-98 (APOEL, Union of New Paralimni, Renaissance, Marathon Kato Varosia, Olympiad Neapolis, Mars War). Of these six teams two couples were drawn while two went into the quarter-final phase without a match.

The following table shows the final results of the first phase games (double matches, one at the seat of each team).

Quarterfinals
In the quarter-final phase there were double games. Each team competed at its headquarters and at the seat of the opponent. The following table shows the final results of the games.

Final Four
The 4 teams qualified by the quarterfinal phase participated in the Final Four of the event, held at the Closed Gym Freedom in Nicosia.

Semi-finals
In the semi-final phase there were single games. The following table shows the final results of the games, held on 21 May 1998.

Final
The final was qualified for Upliftment and Omonia. The game was held on 22 May 1998 at the Closed Gym Freedom in Nicosia. The winner was the Uplift with a score of 3-0 sets (15-14, 15-8, 15-7).
