The Department of Political Science and International Relations (EPDIS) is based in Corinth, and belongs to the School of Social and Political Sciences of the University of Peloponnese. It was founded by Presidential Decree 118/2003 (Government Gazette I' 102). The first students were admitted to the 2007–2008 academic year when the department began operating.

Study programmes

Undergraduate Programme of Studies - Graduate in Political Science and International Relations
Undergraduate studies are four years old and are divided into eight (8) semesters. The undergraduate curriculum was renewed in the academic year 2021-2021 with six lessons each semester. The total number of courses for obtaining a degree is divided into forty-eight (48) and includes two English language-horology courses in the First and Second semesters.

Back and Directions
The curriculum is single in the first two years of study (semimonths I to IV). In the last two years students choose direction of study. The directions offered are:

International Relations

Graduated Work
Students who are in the third semester of study have the right to study at least thirty (30) courses in the curriculum. Graduate work replaces and corresponds to two courses of the 4th year.

English-language master's degree in collaboration with the Departments of Cultural Heritage and Political Sciences - University of Bologna, Italy), the National Institute of Eastern Languages and Cultures -University of Sorbonne-Paris III, France), the Department of International Relations - University of Yassar, Turkey, the Department of Economic Sciences - University of Neapolis Pafos, Cyprus, and Olympia Summer Academy.

Doctorate Diploma
Holders of recognized masters may be admitted for the preparation of a doctoral thesis under the supervision of a three-member scientific committee.

Buildings and Infrastructure
The Postgraduate Department is currently housed in two border buildings in Corinth. The main building is located at the intersection of Aristotle 1 and Athens Avenue, on the 1st floor, and hosts teaching institutes, faculty offices, administrative services, library with reading room, and computer room. In the second building on the 1st floor are teacher offices and multi-purpose hall.
