**Early Life and Education**

Dominik Thalhammer was born on October 2, 1970, in Vienna, Austria.

**Career**

Thalhammer began his coaching career in the lower leagues, training teams such as SC Brunn from 1997 to 2000. He then moved to VfB Admira Wacker Mödling, where he worked as Academy manager, amateur coach, and Academy coach from the 2000/01 season.

**Senior Coaching Career**

In September 2004, Thalhammer was appointed head coach of Admira's senior team, becoming the youngest coach in the Austrian Bundesliga at the age of 33. However, he left the club in August 2005.

From December 2005 to October 2006, Thalhammer coached Vienna Sports Club. He then worked as assistant to head coach Karl Daxbacher and sports manager for LASK from June 2007 to May 2008.

**Later Career**

Thalhammer briefly supervised Floridsdorfer AC before being appointed chief coach of Ostenda (also known as L.A.S.C.). However, he was fired on September 13, 2021.

**Austrian Women's Team and Cyprus Cup**

In February 2011, Thalhammer was appointed to the Convention of the Austrian Women's Team. He led the team until his term ended in 2020, when Irene Foreman took over. During his tenure, the team won the Cyprus Cup in 20.
