Dyo Potamoi (Greek: Δυο Ποταμοί or Δύο Ποταμοί, literally 'Two Rivers', Turkish: İki Dere) is an abandoned village in Cyprus.

### Location and Geography

The village is located 4.5 km east of Kalkan, in the Nicosia District of the Republic of Cyprus, de facto under the control of Northern Cyprus. It was situated at the confluence of two branches of the Aloupos stream.

### History

Before 1974, Dyo Potamoi was a mixed village with a majority of Turkish Cypriots. However, in 1958, the Turkish Cypriots changed their name to İki Dere, a translation of the Greek name. The village has been abandoned since 1964.

### Population Trends

In the early decades of the British period, Christians (Greek Cypriots) constituted the majority of the inhabitants (55%) until 1911, when their share fell to 21%. In 1931, another increase in the Turkish Cypriot population meant a corresponding decline in the Christian population.

### Name Origins

The name "Dyo Potamoi" means "two rivers" in Greek. The village was situated at the confluence of two branches of the Aloupos stream.

### Status and Control

De iure, Dyo Potamoi is located in the district of Nicosia of the Republic of Cyprus, while de facto, it is under the control of Güzelyurt in Northern Cyprus.
