Emil Ninu

Emil Ducu Ninu (born 28 August 1986) is a Romanian footballer who plays as a defender for Liga IV side Venus Independența.

Career

Ninu began his career at a junior club in Craiova and then passed through the Gheorghe Popescu School. In 2005, he signed his first professional contract with National Bucharest. He later played for Staua Bucharest, making his European Cup debut on 16 July 2009 in the UEFA Europa League against Újpest FC.

In 2010, Ninu signed with Vitorul Constanța, where he played 23 matches over two years. In the summer of 2012, he joined Universitatea Cluj, recording 56 matches and 1 goal for the club. However, in the winter of 2015, he broke his contract with the club.

Ninu has also played for Farul Constanța, Gloria Buzau, Gloria Bistritsa, Levski Sofia (signed on 12 January 2015), and AEK Larnaca. He represented Romania at the under-21 level and has competed in various championships, including those of Romania, Bulgaria, and Cyprus.
