English History
**Pre-Roman Britain**
=====================
The earliest inhabitants of England who had reached a level of civilization were the Celtic tribe, which later became known as the Britons or Brythons, from whom the term "Britain" originated. There is no written evidence of the arrival of Celts or their eastern tribes.
In Ireland, another island that was previously known as Hibernia and Scotia, lived the Scots people. They were familiar with the Celtic customs, handicrafts, metalworking, agriculture, warfare, and religion (Druidism) in northern Britain, also known as Caledonia, by the end of the 5th century.
The Gaulish region had trade relations with the Celts and Greeks, including Pathias and Posidonius, who were Greek individuals who left around 330 BC for commercial purposes.
**Roman Era**
=============
In 55 BC, Roman soldiers led by Julius Caesar invaded Britain, causing unrest. In 43 BC, under Emperor Claudius' rule, a plan was made to conquer Britain, which was completed in the next 40 years by Roman governors such as Paxus, Eponus, and Club.
By 410 CE, the major area of Britain had been conquered by the Romans. The Roman Era marked the beginning of significant cultural, economic, and architectural changes in Britain, which would have a lasting impact on its history.
Note: I've kept the original dates and names from both sources, but corrected some minor errors (e.g., "186 Christ" should be "330 BC", and "410 B.C.E." should be "410 CE").
