"Estedepe (TDRB)"

--- CONTENT ---
Esentepe is a village in Girne Province in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. The territory of the community belongs by law to the Republic of Cyprus, according to which the village is called Agios Ambrosios Kyrenia. However, after the 1974 Turkish invasion, the village is not controlled by the Republic of Cyprus and de facto belongs to the unrecognised state of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.

The village was renamed Esentepe in 1975. By the same name they called, since 1958, the Turkish Cypriots who settled in the area the village of Agios Nikolaos Pafos who was their place of origin. For this reason they renamed their new residence under the same name.
