"EuroVelo"

EuroVelo is a project that allows you to travel with bicycle in Europe with its European bicycle road network, 16 separate long road routes. 44,000 kilometers of the total network of 90,000 km were completed.
The EuroVelo project has similar features with Trans-Canada Bicycle Road and the United States Greenway way in terms of length and logic. The project developed by the European Bikers Federation strives to get support from the European Union.
EuroVelo bike routes standards:
Road slope should not be over 6%.
Two bikes should be wide enough to pass.
Over thousand motor vehicles per average day should not pass.
80% of the road must be closed.
It should be open for 365 days, a service in 30 kilometers, a accommodation in 50 kilometers, a "top transportation" must be allowed in 150 kilometers.
