European University of Lefke

The European University of Lefke is a foundation university located in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. It was founded in 1989 by the Cyprus Science Foundation and officially opened its doors in 1990 as a member of the Balkan University Network.

History

The university was established with the aim of providing higher education to students from the region and beyond. Over the years, it has grown to offer a wide range of academic programs, including undergraduate and postgraduate degrees.

Campus

The university campus is located in the city of Lefka, overlooking Morphou Bay. It is situated approximately 45 minutes from the capital city of Nicosia, 60 minutes from Ercan Airport and Kyrenia City, and 80 minutes from Famagusta City.

The European University of Lefke offers a variety of academic programs, including:

* 28 undergraduate programs
* 11 postgraduate programs

These programs are approved by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) in Turkey and are designed to provide students with a high-quality education.
