The Nicosia Football Federation (POEL) is a football federation of Nicosia Province in Cyprus. It was founded in 1958. Every year he holds a championship and a cup. He is one of the 11 federations of rural football in Cyprus and is a founding member of the Confederation of Local Federations of Cyprus (STOK).

History

PTAL was founded in 1958 in Nicosia having 22 associations for founding members:

Although it is based in the province of Nicosia, it has accepted in the ranks of associations and other provinces of Cyprus, such as Mercury Aradippou and Apollo Atheanos from Larnaca, Omonia Assias from Famagusta province and Achilles Gikomos and Kedros Kormakitis from Kyrenia province.

The aim of the establishment of the WTOL was to spread and raise football, to spread sport and the spirit-loving spirit, to cooperate and develop the feeling of solidarity between its member associations.
