George Foudoulis (1964) is a well-known Greek guitarist and composer with rich artistic and educational activities in Greece and abroad. He was born in Volos in 1964. He is founder and director of the Funtouli Conservatory, artistic director of the World Summer and Winter Festival of Volos, as well as president of the International Art Society & Academy.

Biography
George Foudoulis was born in Volos. From an early age he chose the streets of music by making complete studies in Conservatorys and Universities of Greece and abroad, where he graduated as a distinguished aristocracy by taking Guitar, Theoretics, Composition and Address Orchestra (Master and Doctorate). He also took part in major international events in Greece and abroad where he received many honors and awards.

His professional activity is summarized as follows: Solist – Professor Guitar and Composer with an international career and a significant presence in discography and literature, Othearch, Manager with specialization in cultural management.

It has permanent artistic cooperation with the countries: Italy, England, Poland, Canada, USA, Russia, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Norway, China, Bulgaria, Serbia, Croatia, Cuba, Lebanon, Cyprus, etc.

As a composer he holds the world record in the mellification of poets. He has studied more than 80 poets, including Elytis, Cavafy, Seferi, Varnalis, Ritso, Polydouri, Apollonio Rodio (3rd century BC), and many others.

From 1982 until today, he collaborates as a professor with many Conservatorys, Universities and important cultural institutions of Greece and abroad.

From his ranks hundreds of guitarists and musicians who make a career either as a soloist or as professors have graduated.

In 1991 he founded the Funtouli Conservatory in Volos (with the recognition of the Ministry of Culture), which operates with distinguished educators and artists and organizes special curriculum programs, events, seminars, festivals, etc..

To date it has successfully designed and implemented more than 300 international events (festival, conferences, events and) and hundreds of local and regional events.

From 2004 to 2006 he served as director of the Giannitsa Municipal Conservatory offering important work, while creating new cultural institutions in Giannitsa.

In 2010 he founded the Art Polychoreos in Volos, a living space of culture in which thousands of events were hosted and was a model and reference point for Greek and international cultural events.

In 2015 he founded the Volos Guitar Orchestra, which soon gained global radiation and is a reference point on the international music scene.
