Giorgos Theodoridis

Giorgos Theodoridis (; born 3 July 1980) is a Greek former professional footballer.

Career

Theodoridis started playing football at the age of 5 in Germany, joining the amateur club FV Biebrich. However, he moved to Greece at the age of 17 and joined Aris Thessaloniki team, where he played in the Second National (1997-98). He was later loaned to Athenian for a short period.

Theodoridis made his first appearance in the top national competition on 5 October 1998, playing against Panathinaikos (0-1) at home. In 2002, he left Aris and joined PAOK, where he played for two and a half years. He then spent a two-year period (2005-07) with Panathinaikos, although he did not receive many playing opportunities.

In the 2007–08 season, Theodoridis played for Ergoteli, before returning to Germany in 2008 to join his hometown club FSV Frankfurt, which competed in the second division. In 2009, he retired from professional football.

Career Statistics

Theodoridis has represented Greece at various levels, including the men's national team and under-21 team. He also played for several clubs in Greece, Cyprus, and Germany, including Aris Thessaloniki, PAOK, Panathinaikos, Ergoteli, FSV Frankfurt, and others.
