"Giannis Goudelis"

Giannis Goudelis (1919 – 1999) was a Greek writer and publisher.
He was born in 1919 in Karyovuni, Mani. He studied Chemistry at the University of Athens. It was included among the organizers of Kostis Palamas' funeral in 1943. He participated in the performance of Trisygeni and the musical events organized by the University. He founded the Scientific Applications Office in Athens.
In 1954 he founded the publishing house "Difros" and in 1956 the quarterly magazine "New Age". He ensured for "Difros" the exclusiveity of the publication of the works of Nikos Kazantzakis.
His works focus on defeating the Left in the Civil War, facing the leadership of the critically.
In 1973 he was awarded the State Travel Impression Award.
He died in 1999.
