Giannis Koridis (1936 – ...) is a Greek journalist and writer.

He was born in Moloha, Kozani in 1936 to parents of Asia Minor. He studied law and literature, but was won by Journalism. He worked almost in all Athenian newspapers and magazines (Freedom, Step, News, Acropolis, Evening, Day, Adendotus, Free Press, Profit, News, Postman, Economic Postman, Seasons, Greek, Slim, Greece) as a reporter, editor, columnist, chronographer, book critic etc.
Characteristics of his work
He was presented in Letters with the collection "With the sunrise" in 1952, where he surprised the criticism of the young man his age and his well-worked verse.

• Since 1995 he has been anthologising and publishing the annual "Poetic Calendar".
• He served as director of the "Health Step", "Policy and Economic Research" and "Alev".
• He was editor of the journals "Iolkos" (the organ of the same-named publishing house he founded in 1961), "Symposium", "Balkans", "Diodos" and "Research".
• He is a member of the ESEA, the Society of Greek Literaries, the Folklore Society, a founding member of the Smyrnaion Association and served as president of the Association of Cultural Editors.
• He collaborated with the main literary journals and for many years he wrote the book review in the economic newspaper "Kerdos".
• His works have been translated into French, Italian, English, Bulgarian, Albanian and Slovenian.
