Köksel (singer)

Kösel Demirpençe, born on November 25, 1971, is a Turkish singer-songwriter known for his distinctive voice and emotive performances.

Demirpençe pursued higher education in Philosophy at Boğaziçi University, where he began to develop his musical skills professionally. He started taking care of music while continuing his studies, eventually launching his career as a solo artist.

In the early 1990s, Demirpençe collaborated with various musicians and orchestras, including renowned artists such as Sezen Aksu and Onno Tunç. His first album was released in 1997 under Sarp Özdemiroğlu's production, featuring original compositions alongside covers of other artists' songs.

Throughout his career, Demirpençe has explored a range of musical styles, from experimental sounds to nostalgic tributes to the 1970s. One of his most beloved albums, "Bende Bi' Love Var," released in 2012 under Ozan Çolakoğlu's production, earned him widespread acclaim and numerous awards.
