Gopalaswami Parthasarathy

Gopal Swami Parthasarathy is an Indian diplomat and writer. He holds a degree in electrical engineering. Parthasarathy served as the Indian High Commissioner to Cyprus from 1990-92, Ambassador to Myanmar from 1992-95, High Commissioner to Australia from 1995-98, and High Commissioner to Pakistan from 1998-2000. After that, he worked as a spokesperson for the Ministry of External Affairs and the Prime Minister's Office. In 2018, G. Parthasarathy was appointed as the Vice-Chancellor of Central University of Jammu.
