Gregory Charalambides (born Drama, January 6, 1958), is an old international footballer who played in the position of quarterback and was known for his strong headers.

Football career
Haralambides first played football in Hercules Mavrovatos Drama's amateur team. He soon stood out for his height (1.90 m), his strength and displacement, which he was shown to be a great scorer, despite having no particularly high technique. He competed in the great group of the region, Glory Drama, with which he won the rise in the great category, in 1979.

In the same team he also started his professional career in 1979-80 in the First National and in the summer of 1981 he signed a contract to Panathinaikos. He stayed in PAO for 5 consecutive periods, taking part in more than 100 league games and scoring over 50 goals. In 1986 he was transferred to OFI, where he stayed for another 3 seasons. Overall he played 248 official First National League championship games (61 with Glory, 110 with PAO, 77 with OFI), achieving 97 goals (20 with Glory, 56 with PAO and 21 with OFI).

He concluded his competitive career in Cyprus AEK Larnaca.

Securities
Gregory Charalambides won a total of 6 team titles (2 leagues and 4 cups) in his career. The five with the colours of PAO and one with the shirt of OFI ( cup 1987). Also, in his first year in PAO he was the first scorer in the Championship with 21 goals.
