--CONTENT --
Heinrich XI (VIII) von Henneberg-Schloysingen, called "The Restless," "The Young One" (1429) () of the Earls of Henneberg, was a clergyman until 1445, then a Earl in Kaltennordheim.

Life
Born March 17, 1422. He was the second son of Count Wilhelm I von Henneberg-Schloysingen († 1424 in Cyprus) and his wife, Princess Anna von Braunschweig-Göttingen († 1426), widow of Markhographer Wilhelm I von Maysen († 1407), daughter of Duke Otto I von Braunschweig-Göttingen († 1394) and Margareta von Yulich-Berg († 1442). His eldest brother was the ruling Count Wilhelm II (*1415; † 1444).

Heinrich XI began a spiritual career and gave up his father's inheritance in Henneberg-Shlozingen. He was enrolled at the universities of Erfurt (1433) and Cologne (1436). Later he was a Domcher in Cologne (1436), Würzburg (oc. 1437), Archdeacon in Würzburg (1455) and a Domcher in Bamberg (1438

His older brother Wilhelm II died hunting on January 8, 1444 and left underage sons. Heinrich XI left the clergy in 1445 and got married and had claims against the county of Henneberg against his nephews. Fights, too. That's how great anxiety starts in the country. Duke Wilhelm III of Weimar and Markograph Albrecht Achilles of Brandenburg are involved.

From 1445 until his death 1475. Heinrich XI runs Amt Caltenardheim. He has multiple conflicts with neighboring dominances.

He died on September 10, 1475 in Caltenardheim, Turingia. He was buried in the cathedral of Würzburg.
