The Turkish society living in peace throughout the island for 300 years is thrown into the background in social, cultural and economic areas along with the tip of the UKs. At a time they fall into a minority status in country management. As a result of this, Turkish society becomes increasingly poor and begins to spoil the morality of the people. New projects are thought to correct impaired morals. One of the richest economic organizations of the island, the Foundations Administration is carried out in a number of investments. Haybahçe project is one of those projects. Haybahçe houses are a garden that belongs to Şaban Pasha in the field before building and is used to meet the needs of vegetables and fruits of citizens living in the historical Suriçi region. This agreement was terminated in 1917. Foundations Administration, one of the richest institutions of the period, prepares the Haybahçe project. In 20th of the exit of the Ottomans from Cyprus, Evkaf Murahhası Musa İrfan Bey was founded in 1918-1925. This project, which will host hundreds of poor Turkish people, constitutes one of the most beautiful examples of the foundation philosophy. In this period, due to the increase of the need for housing, the housing is started to build. Housings are built under a social responsibility project for non-material citizens. Therefore, it is decided to rent a large amount of rent from living in these housings. With this direction, the city planning is the first example.
