Igor Viktorovich Alekseev

Early Life and Education

Igor Viktorovich Alekseev was born on January 10, 1960, in Donetsk. He received his education from several institutions:

* In 1981, he graduated from the Donetsk Higher Military-Political School of Engineering and Communications Forces.
* In 1991, he attended the Lenin Military and Political Academy.
* In 1998, he earned a Master's degree in Foreign Policy from the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.

Career

Alekseev began his career in the following roles:

* From 1981 to 1983, he served as the Deputy Commander of Communications Company in Kyiv.
* From 1983 to 1985, he was the Secretary of the Committee of the Komsomol and a propagandist of the political department at the Kiev Higher Military Engineering School of Communications.
* From 1985 to 1988, he worked as a propagandist for a military unit in Magadan.
* From 1988 to 1991, he was a student at the Lenin Military-Political Academy in Moscow.
* From 1991 to 1994, he taught at the Kiev Institute of Land Forces.
* From 1994 to 1996, he served as the First Secretary of the Department of Arms Control and Disarmament of the Ministry.

Politics

Alekseev has been involved in Ukrainian politics since:

* In 2002, he was elected as a People's Deputy of Ukraine.
* Since June 2005, he has held the position of secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Ukraine.
* On January 16, 2014, he voted for the "Digital Law" in his capacity as a deputy.
