Ioannis Panitsas is a Greek poet and literary artist, known under the pseudonym Giannis Galanos. He has written over 26 poetry collections and 9 travel books while writing in magazines and newspapers.

He was born in Patras, finishing the First High School of Patras he studied philosophy in London and law in Athens.
