Julie Pottinger is an American writer of bestsellers in the genre of historical romance. It says under the alias Julia Quinn.

Biography and creativity
Julie Cotler Pottinger was born in 1970 in New England, USA. He grew up there, but he spent a lot of time in California after his parents' divorce. There's a sister, Emily Cottler. Ever since she was a child, she was consumed by books, preferring romantic literature. When her father is 12 years old, she opposes her choice of books, but she tells him that she reads them for the purpose of writing herself. To prove this, he immediately starts writing on his first computer and in just three hours the first two chapters are ready. The whole novel was completed after three years and although rejected by publishers it remained as an initial career experience.

Julie Pottinger graduated from Harvard University with a degree in art history. During the summer, he worked for the guide Besides studying science she began to write her carefree romances.

In her senior year at Harvard, she decided she wanted to go to medical school for two more years. A few weeks after she was admitted to the medical school, her first two novels were sold by her agent at auction, which is an unusual appearance for a beginner. They were published in 1995.

Judy's putting off her medical school for two years to write the next two novels. When he finally started studying medicine at Yale University, he found after a short few months that he preferred to dissect with the pen rather than with the scalpel.
