Krasimir Manolov is a former Bulgarian footballer, assailant and then football coach.

His competitive career developed in the 1970s and 1980s. There are 207 matches with 67 goals in the In 1974 Manolov became European champion with the Bulgarian junior national team by 18 at the Swedish championship, which marked the winning goal in the final against Yugoslavia. Later he recorded 7 matches with 1 goal for the national team of Bulgaria.

Career as a football player

Club teams
Manolov is the junior of Locomotive (Plovdiv). He debuted for the first team at the age of 18 in 1974. Two seasons remain in the team, in which he plays 25 matches and scores 6 goals in a group.

In 1976 he moved to Academic (Sofia), where he became a major footballer in the composition of the students. On October 20, 1976, he scored one of the goals for the historic victory by 4:3 against Milan in a match from the UEFA Cup. In two years he played 42 games in the elite championship, which marks 16 hits.

In 1978 he passed to Botev, Plovdiv, where the senior coach was then his uncle Ivan Manolov. It remains with the canars. He played 112 games and scored 32 goals in a group. He won the National Cup in season 1980/81. With Botev recorded 3 matches in the Euro tournaments, taking part in both meetings with Barcelona for the CNC in 1981/82.

In the summer of 1983 Manolov passed into Shumen. During the 1983/84 season, he played 28 Sumerians matches in a group that signed 13 times, but the team fell from the elite championship. He remains in Shumen for another year and a half in a group.

In the middle of season 1985/86 Manolov returned to his home town and dressed the team of Spartacus (Plovdiv). By the end of the campaign, a group played 15 matches and scored 8 goals. In the following season 1986/87 scored 15 hits in 33 meetings.

At the age of 30, he went abroad by going to Cyprus' Alki Larnaca. Then he went to Malta, where he consistently carried the teams of Valletta, Balzan and Mars before ending his career in 1993.

Manolov recorded 37 matches with 13 goals for the teenage national team by 18. With this selection in 1974 he became European champion. He then played six games and scored one goal for the youth national team.
