Alekos Lidorikis (March 1907 – March 28, 1988) was a Greek journalist, literary writer and great playwright. He was the son of the playwright and politician Miltiadis Lidoriki.

Life Story
He was born in Athens in March 1907. He attended classes in Sorbonne and wrote the thesis "Théâtre Grec Contemporain". As a journalist (critical and chronicler) he worked with many newspapers (the largest Athenian newspapers of that time). He also worked with many Greek and foreign magazines. In 1933 he also made his official start in theatre.

From 1945 to 1960 he stayed in the U.S. where he worked at the "Twentieth Century Fox" Studios better known as "20th Fox" and for Television. At the same time he is published in the New York National Herald and is a correspondent of the Athenian newspapers "The News" (1948–49 and 1956–58) and "Acropolis" and "Evening" (1952–1960). His interviews with the political figures of America at that time (Aisenhower, Stevenson, Atcheson, Hoover ka) are considered historical. The new Hollywood stars (Mirilyn Monroe, Jane Russell, Susan Hayworth, Elvis Presley and so many others) "talk" through Lidoriki's interviews to the Greek public.

In 1960 he comes and settles permanently in Athens and starts working with all major newspapers of the time. But it does not stop journalistic missions. The "round of the World in 12 days" travels him to Europe, Asia and America and then: mission two months "American 1970". Lidoriki speaks political figures, writers, artists, Americans and Greeks of America, writes his impressions and analyzes the problems (drugs, inflation, environmental pollution). Again missions to states of Europe and just before the "Attila" trip to Cyprus. Tour around the island, interviews with all the actors and Archbishop Makarios about the Cyprus problem. In 1973 a mission to the Soviet Union, a combination of journalism and theatrical conference. In 1975 a new newspaper was born "Free Press". She works with her from the beginning and a few months after she was born, she pronounces her a great success: The mission to Siberia, the first major mission of the newspaper, which is the first mission of a Greek journalist in the distant and vast region of the Soviet Union. He reaches Irkutsk and his impressions and interviews are immediately released in a book. From 1982 to 1987 he collaborates with the newspaper "National".

Over 25 of his plays have been played abroad. But besides theatre and journalism he also wrote prose, poems and reviews. Among his works played are: "Law" (1929), "Exodus of Danger" (1942), etc.

He was a member of the Society of Greek Theatre writers and other spiritual associations. He had taken part in more than 20 missions abroad at international spiritual meetings. Had
