List of Heads of State in 1326

In the year 1326, various regions and empires had their own leaders or rulers. This list aims to provide an overview of some of these state leaders.

Europe

Europe was ruled by several monarchs during this time period. In Albania, Guglielmo Blinisti served as a count from 1318-1328. The Prince of Ahaia, John, held the title from 1322 to 1333. Meanwhile, in England, Edward III reigned as king from 1307 to 1327.

In Anjou, Filip was the Count and later King of France from 1328 to 1350. Aragon's James III ruled from 1291-1273, while Austria saw Frederick III the Beautiful become Duke of Habsburg in 1306 before ascending to the throne as king in 1314.

The Wittelsbach dynasty controlled Lower Bavaria through Henry II and Otto IV, with Henry III succeeding them. Upper Bavaria was led by Louis IV, who later became King of Germany from 1314-1347. Byzantium's Andronic III ruled as Emperor during this time period.

Asia

In Anatolia, Aydinogullar were led by Mehmed-bey until his death in 1334. Hermian was controlled by Jakub I until 1330. Inanchogullars followed the leadership of Inank Bay until 1335.

The Ottoman Empire saw Osman I as Sultan from 1299 to 1326, with Orhan I succeeding him until 1359. Sarukhanogullars were led by Saru Khan until his death in 1346. Sahib-Ataogullary was controlled by Nusreddin Ahmed.

The Ashrefids saw Suleiman II as Bey from 1320 to 1326, while the kingdom of Georgia had George V the Brilliant and Constantine I ruling over Eastern and Western Georgia respectively.

Africa

In Egypt, al-Malik an-Nasir Muhammad ruled during the Bahri Dynasty. Algeria's Abu Tashfin I was Sultan until his death in 1337. Ethiopia saw Amda Seyon I as Emperor from 1314 to 1344.

Ifriqiya had Abu Bakr II as Caliph, while Kanem Bornu was controlled by Abdullah II. Kilwa Kisiwani
