Lot Laurien

Lot Laurien is a Bulgarian Worldmusic/ethno crossover group. It was founded in 1997. The creators Kiril Georgiev and Zlatomir Valchev choose the name of the group, inspired by the work of writer J. R. R. Tolkin.

The compositions of Lot Lorien, author and revision of folk songs, contain elements of Bulgarian, Balkan and world folklore.

Lot Laurien has participated in many Bulgarian and foreign television stations: including BNT, bTV (Bulgaria), NTV +, (Russia), Karelska national television, Serbian national television, Turkish national television, Channel 8 (Turkey), Macedonian national television, Croatian national television, Slovenian Radio and TV, Korean TV stations, etc. Lot Laurien were special guests live in the broadcast of Larry London, Border Crossings.
