Early Life and Club Career

Martin Kolář was born on September 18, 1983, in Prague. He began his club career with Bohemians Prague, playing in the Gambrinus League for one season before moving to RSC Anderlecht in mid-2002.

### Club Career

After joining Anderlecht, Kolář made his debut in the Uefa Cup against Stabæk IF in October 2002. He went on to make 11 appearances for the team in the championship before being loaned out to several clubs.

In 2005, Kolář was loaned to Stoke City, where he scored once in 14 appearances and helped the team achieve a quiet salvation in The Championship. In 2006, he was loaned to Westerlo, playing in Division I. He also played for AC Ajaccio in Ligue 2.
