"Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works (Cyprus)"

The Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works of Cyprus was created on April 9, 2015. The headquarters of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works are located in Agios Andreas. Previously there was the Ministry of Transport and Works (1960–2015).

Today's minister is Alexis Vafiades.

Mission
The design and implementation of policies for the continuous improvement of transport (air and land) and communications, as well as the continuous upgrading of the quality of projects implemented by the Ministry.

In addition, the aim is to promote and exploit archaeological wealth, as well as the other resources of the country.

Strategic pursuits
The strategic objectives of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works for the three years 2021-2023 are as follows:

Create a modern and safe road network and transport and promote sustainable mobility.
Modern, safe and sustainable air transport and improving the connectivity of Cyprus with third countries.
Offering modern and quality postal and electromechanical services and ensuring citizen safety. .
Utilization of our archaeological wealth and resources.
