Description
It is designed to strike at the enemy's large surface ships, provide the battle resistance of ship's anti-aircraft groups, anti-air defense of remote compounds, fire support of the landing.

History of the Service
From 18 to 22 November 1986 there was a visit to the Greek city of Pyrea.
On 21 March 1991 he was placed in Nikolaev for major renovation and modernisation. In the context of political instability, the issue of the write-off of the rocket cruiser is discussed, the modernisation of which is insufficient. A debt that grows every month is formed to the shipbuilding plant. In order to somehow correct the situation, the Black Sea Fleet Command addressed the Moscow government with a request to assume custody of the cruiser Slava. However, the issue of debt to the Nielaev shipyards is not resolved. In order to pay off the plant, HF Command adopted a decision for a barter with separate mechanisms and part of the cruiser's weapons. In particular, AK-630 plants have been dismantled. Unmounted equipment and armaments are planned for use in the construction of the single cruiser. The cruiser himself, in 1999, was taken to Sevastopol.
On May 16, 1996, Moscow's cruiser was renamed.
In August 1999, the cruiser entered again.
In 2003, led by the OCC of CHF in composition SC "Screeve," Marshall Shaposhnikov and the tanker Vladimir Kolcitsky in the Russian-Indian naval exercises Indra-2003.
In 2008 and 2009, he participated in the Mediterranean in naval exercises, in conjunction with ships of the Red Starfleet.
From 9 August to 12 August 2008, the cruiser participated in the armed conflict with Georgia in the waters of Abkhazia.
On September 7, 2009, an accident occurred on board the cruiser. Some CMI reports a steam boiler explosion and 10 injured crew members. The IMP Command disproves this information, reporting that due to the leak of diesel fuel and its encounter with an electric conductor becomes a smokescreen of one of the sections, and there are no casualties, an investigation is being conducted about the causes of the accident.
In 2012, the cruiser ceased to be a separate military unit.
From 3 July to 18 November 2013, the cruiser is on a long march. The ship visits the ports of Lisbon (Portugal), Havana (Cuba), Corintho (Nicaragua), Guayra (Venezuela). He's also entering a port in Cyprus. The team solves problems in the composition of interfl
