The Muscat Athletic Association is a Greek sports association, based in Muscat, southern Athens and active in the sport of football. Its official founding year is 1926 and its colors are green and white. It has a Register Number of H.P.O. 37 and belongs to the power of H.P.S. Piraeus. It participates in the events of E.P.S. Piraeus and is home to Muscatou Municipal Field.

History

In the early years - A.S.F. "Moshaton"

In 1926, a group of Muscat fans create the club Sports Association of Fans "the Muscaton". In testimony of the late Friday Vuzalis, who as a young man and athlete of the Association lived at the time, the founders were, Neokles Serafeidis, Evangelos Kouroumis, George Athanasios, Alexander Ragavopoulos, Eleftherios Saintis, Konstantinos Typaldos, Loparnos, Baroumas, Trikourakis, Horianopoulos and Nikolaos Dagadakis.

The new Association, with the aim of direct participation of its team in official games, joined in October 1926 the guerrilla Association of Football Associations of Piraeus (SPS), where the National was leading along with most Piraeus Clubs that had split from the official Association of Football Associations of Piraeus (PSG), in which only Olympiacos and three other teams remained.

The reconciliation that followed between Olympiacos (EPS) and National (PSS) brought the Association to the official championships of Piraeus H.P.S., participating in the Second Division Championship of 1926-27, with first match on 20/2/1927 towards the Storm 4-2. At the same time, he joined the register of the newly created H.P.O. with a Register Number of H.P.O. in 37, becoming one of the first unions of H.P.O. By 1940–41, the championship of which was discontinued due to the start of the war, will compete in 9 leagues of the Third and 4 of the Second Division.

In 1939 he absorbed the Gymnastics Athletic Association Muscat - New Faliro and since then he had a department of Classical Sports (stivus), which was disbanded and his athletes were granted around 1944/45 to Apollo Athens.

Greece Muscat
In 1943 he merged with the Muscat Football Club "Greece" and was renamed the Muscat Athletic Union "Greece", a name under which the Association competed during 1943-1947. He won 3rd place of the 3rd Division in the first official post-war league to take part in 1946-47 having in its ranks Kostas Nestoridis, who took his first football steps with the Association jersey competing under the pseudonym Kostas Prinzos.

In 1947 he was forced because of the political situation (Civil War) to change the name again, where removing the term "Greece" (due to the confusion with ELAS) he was renamed "Moschato Athletic Union" also known as "AMM".
