Nisou
Nisou (Greek: Νίσος, Turkish: Kneedarköy or Dizdarköy) is a village in the Nicosia District of Cyprus, located on the north bank of the Yialias River. The village is situated just north of Pera Chorio and approximately 15 kilometers away from the capital city.
History
The village has a mixed history, with both Greek and Turkish populations residing there until the events of Christmas 1964, which led to the displacement of the Turkish population. Prior to this event, the village was a mixed community, with records showing a population of 237 people in 1891, consisting of 120 Greeks and 117 Turks.
Demographics

* By 1960, the numbers had changed to 108 Turkish and 366 Greek residents.

Geography
The village is located on the north bank of the Yialias River. The old road connecting Nicosia and Limassol passes through the village, while the new road approaches from the northwest.
