--- CONTENT ---
The Ζ ́ Panhellenic men's track championship 1925 was first held outside Greece, Limassol, Cyprus, from 23 to 26 April (from Easter Thursday to Thomas Sunday) and was a great success. The games took place along with the XVI Pagypria. However, it was held under the auspices of the SEGAS, organized by the G.S. Olympia Limassol, and the Polynic National G.S. He was awarded a special prize for the title he won: "a large bronze statue of presenters Nikine", which was played by the Cypriot community of Alexandria. The winners of the streets, the jumps, the relays, and the pentathlon were awarded silver or silver cups. The casting winners were given a brass statuette except for the winner of aconism, to which he was awarded "an early javelin with a silver handle". Of course, diplomas and medals were awarded to the first three of each race. There was a special score for sports events, including track, wrestling, and weightlifting. Gunfight, swimming, tennis and football matches were also held, for which there was a separate score. The men's Panhellenic cross-country championship was not held this year either.

Time of the games

The event of the 1925 Panhellenic Games took a particularly festive dimension, as it was combined with the national desire to highlight the Greekness of Cyprus and the permanent demand of the Union with Greece. The opening ceremony was attended by the archbishop of the island, who performed the relevant sanctification and multitude of official Cypriots led by Nick. Lanitis, representative of the National Council and some Englishmen. The Stadium was full of all the days by Cypriots who had come from all parts of the island, who chanted slogans for the Union. Dance concerts, theatrical performances and horse racing for athletes and their escorts were organized alongside the games. Also, the Holy Synod offered a gold cross as a prize, without specifying to whom it was awarded.

After the end of the games the athletes were met by Antonios Hatzipaulos. Also, the athletes from Greece and Egypt went to Jerusalem for a result before returning to Alexandria and Athens. 50 sports clubs were expected in the games. It is known that sports clubs from Athens, Piraeus, Thessaloniki, Lesvos, Alexandria and of course from all the cities of Cyprus took part. New nationwide records were achieved at 400m, 1500m and triple jump.
