The 1976–77 Piraeus E.P.S. Championship was organized in three categories. In total, 71 clubs participated in the piraean championships. The titles of the three groups of the First Division were won by A.S. Drapetsonas, Ionic Nikaias and Peramaikos respectively, who competed with each other in barrage matches where the Ionic and second-athlete A.S. emerged. Drapetsona who both qualified for the amateur climbing championship for the rise in the Second National and Tribute Peramaikos who qualified for National amateur league. Secondarys of the three groups of the first ESPP were Mars Nikaia, A.O. Neapoleos and A.O. Nikaias respectively, of which better scores were A.O. Nikaias (until the previous season "Pindos Nikaias") who qualified for the National amateur league. Hephaestus and A.O. Prophet Elias won the titles of the two teams of the Second ESPP. The third EPC champion was declared the Piraeus Renaissance.

Champion ranking games for the rise

The champions of the three teams competed with each other in single barrage matches, for two places in the H.P.O. Special Championship. Ionic Nikaias, second-athlete Drapetsona and third Peramaikos, was the champion. However, all three teams left Piraeus I, after the first Ionian won his ascent in the Second National, while Drapetsona and Peramaikos participated in the National Amateur Championship, established after a few months.
