Rade Paprica
Rade Paprica (born 29 November 1956) is a Bosnian retired professional footballer who played in the former Yugoslavia, Greece, and Turkey.
Career
Paprica started playing at local FK Sutjeska Foča before transferring to Željezničar in 1977. He spent seven years with Željezničar, during which time he was a key player for the team. In the 1978-79 season, Paprica was the top scorer for Željezničar in the Yugoslavia league. He continued to be an effective and prolific goal-scorer for the team until 1981.
In 1984, Paprica transferred to PAOK Thessaloniki in Greece, where he played a crucial role in helping the team win the Greek championship in 1985. He spent two seasons with PAOK before moving to Beşiktaş in Turkey in 1986. However, his stay at Beşiktaş was short-lived, and he only played for the team for half a season.
Paprica then returned to Željezničar in Sarajevo for another stint, scoring 7 goals in 19 matches during his time with the team. He later moved on to play for Apollon Kalamarias and APOP Paphos in Cyprus from 1988 to 1991.
Post-Playing Career
After retiring from playing football in 1992, Paprica moved to Thessaloniki where he worked as a coach in PAOK's youth team.
